St. Andrew's CE Primary School – Admissions Consultation Outcome

 

Following a period of consultation, the Governing Body of St Andrew’s CE Primary School has reviewed the feedback received and has now formally adopted the proposed changes to the Admissions Policy. Governors have approved the following amendments to the Admissions Policy:

  1. Children subject to a Special Guardianship Order who have not previously been in the care of the local authority will now be included under Priority 2 in the oversubscription criteria.

  2. Children of staff will now be included under Priority 6 in the oversubscription criteria.

These changes will apply to admissions for 2026 2027 and are aimed at ensuring the school’s admissions process remains fair, transparent, and reflective of the school’s values and community needs.
