Getting involved in worship

Parents are encouraged to take part in school worship by attending weekly Wednesday worship (9:00 in the church) as well as coming to school services like our regular joint family service with the church. In this service each class leads a worship song over the year. Click here to see our class worship songs.

Worship at home

We know that parents love to talk to their children about school, and children have told us that they love telling their parents about all they've learned in worship.  The Big and Little questions are also sent home weekly via ParentMail so that families can reflect on the theme over the week.

Friday celebration worship

A separate, but linked, place is given for the celebration of the school and individual achievements – including reference to pupils demonstrating the school’s principles in action. Where children demonstrate our six learning behaviours, they are given Dojos and stamps linked to the principle, and the associated learning behaviour, they have demonstrated. Each week, a selection of children are given a leaf for our school celebration tree, showing how we are 'Growing learners to live in God's world.' Parents are invited to see their child's leaf being presented.

Prayer at home

Our Junior Chaplains are working on creating a prayer sheet that can be used at home. In the meantime, here are some prayers you could use at home.
